I’ll be honest, its kind of been one of “those” weeks. Where my baby doesn’t sleep well at night, I can’t seem to get on top of housework and I get out of the shower to realize I only shaved one leg. Oh, and this is the second time I’ve started this post because my first blog, (nearly finished) deleted itself. Awesome.

In spite of all that, Our Christmas tree went up last night…

I’m drinking Trader Joes Wintry Blend… (which is my new favorite)

and I’ve been dancing around the house all day to Christmas music with Judah… complete with loud vibrato endings and jazz hands.

I held Judah close last night as we gazed at the fairy lights and I whispered to him the true story of Christmas. I can’t wait till he understands. This year, more than ever before, I’m grateful for God’s gift of His precious Son. I honestly don’t know how he did it. And I’m so happy we set aside time to remember his gift. It makes the stress of one of “those” weeks go away. Its the monets, people. Sometimes, its not hard to choose joy.
